    Second Chances

Kruun's night of terror comes to a screeching halt as the calvary arrives.

    The Good
This cover is superb. I really wish that Dodson drew like this all the time, ditto for Rachel's coloring work here.

Kitty is fixed!!! Finally!!! This has been a long, long time coming like about 38 issues or so to be exact. That whole stuck intangible thing was starting to get truly annoying. If Gillen does nothing else right during his run on this title I can live with that because of this.

It was nice to see the other X-Men arrive to help take down Kruun. Dr. Nemesis, as always, was a delight during their brief appearance.

Gillen's done a great job writing Kruun. We get a good sense of how much he cares for Haleena and his people.

There's a great moment towards of the end of the issue which show's that their just may be hope yet for Kruun to change for the better. There's also some good follow up between Scott and Agent Brand about the conditions of the Breakworlders on their home planet.

Gillen brings his story back around full circle, I really like when writers do things like this.

    The Bad
I'm very take it or leave it when it comes to Dodson's art, this issue was definitely a leave for me.

The way this issue opens up it makes it seem like the battle between Kruun and Logan took place between issues and we're entering in towards the end of it. I hate when stuff like this happens. Also I gotta call shenanigans on Krrun taking Logan out the way he did this issue.

Kruun's redemption via the "power of love" was a bit too cheesy for me and was also very predictable.

Turns out the "cure" that Kruun used on Colossus and others was only temporary.

    The Verdict
    Buy This Comic
This is a solid issue and a very solid end to this arc. Gillen resolves Kitty's long running plot thread and ties up any loose ends you may or may not have been wondering about from Whedon's acclaimed Astonishing run. Aside from the art problems that come part an parcel with Dodson's work there's little to complain about and much more to enjoy. Uncanny's in a very good place right now and moving in the right direction.

The Conclusion of Breaking Point 0

We know Uncanny X-Men is coming to an end but this conclusion to Breaking Point makes it feel like this was the end.The GoodIf you've been wanting any loose ends from Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men/Breakworld storyline, they pretty much are all tied up here. If you didn't read last issue, here's a little spoiler, Kitty Pryde gets killed. For real. But you'll still see her in this issue. I have to admit, in the opening pages, I almost felt like I missed something between this issue and the last ...

A Fitting End, If A Bit Rushed 0

I don't know how much time has passed in Marvel - probably a year or so, but in the real world, Kitty has been intangible since 2004.  Will she finally be cured?  This issue gives the answer as well as, hopefully, solving the Breakworld issue once and for all.  Of course, since Astonishing is a bit behind the other X-books, Kitty will be intangible there no matter what happens in this issue.  Since this issue is the final battle and resolution, there isn't a way to mention too much without it be...
