Uncanny X-Men #522 This story seemed like such a rush job. I wish that we could have been serviced better for the story that brought Kitty Pride back to us. The story was so rushed that we got lame filler in the back that we could have lived without. The idea behind Magneto seeking redemption by re-assembling the X-Men family a little bit was a good one, but totally executed in a piss poor way. Kitty Pryde is back. The X-men spot the ship and they are not sure if Kitty pryde is a live or not. But in the end they find out that she is alive. People are ready to greet her especially Colosus who runs to give her a hug but, something happens. When colosus gives Kitty a hug she phased through it. She can not touch anyone. In the end we see her in a chamber I guess to try to help her get her solid form back and Peter looking into it. Matt Fraction has grown up. My only problem with him as a writer was that his Iron Man work is like MUCH better, thoughtful and detailed than The Uncanny X-Men. It appeared that he could not keep the same and write at an adequate level two different comic books. And it makes it more surprising as he continues to amaze me with his every UXM issue. This story - the most shocking, what happened to the series since Ed Brubaker's work on it. A very pleasant surprise was the absence of Terry Dodson...13 out of 13 found this review helpful.
