On their way to Canada Jean and Scott’s plane is commandeered by AIM Agents. Apparently that “thing” in the box that jean sensed last issue is what they plan to steal all they need is its location. This “thing” turns out to be an other-worldly being known as the Entity. Scott and Jean being superhero veterans (they were trained since they were teens) help put an end to the AIM threat before anyone can be hurt and to top it off they do so without the use of their powers, and the Entity even helps to absolve/quell all on-board panic which was a result of the hijacking. Once they land the entity is commandeered by the new department H. (Jean and Scotty sure can get mixed up in some freaky stuff)

Meanwhile the X-men (or what’s left of em) continue to pick up the pieces of their lives and fix the mansion as best they can. Archangel flutters in and gets into an argument with resident ass kicker Wolverine. You see Wolvie thinks Warren isn’t being much of a team player after the debacle of gambit’s trial. Apparently Warren dumped them at the mansion even though Joseph prolly needed medical attention. Anyway the only thing interesting about this is the scene in which Marrow blows Warren a kiss and alludes to him being special to her.

Maggott rummages through the X-Mail and finds a sweet smelling love note for “Sam”, After his strained relationship with Storm of late and a general uneasiness with the x-men Cannonball departs to meet up with X-Force to clear his mind, hang out with friends and spend some quality time with his girlfriend Tabitha Smith, the mutant Meltdown.

    The Good!
Ok story I guess, I was bored, but hey u just might like it. To add insult to injury the art is up and down all over (although that was the intention with all these artists on one book). Passable story but just not my cup a tea.

    The Bad!
Boring issue , bland and disparaging visuals.

    The ugly!
Boring from start to finish with its only saving grace being the few pages given to the team.    2/5 stars
