    Two Warring Factors 0

    Now we get to the big battle, where a bunch of pissed of American supers decide to kick the crap out of the invaders. Nothing however is as cool as a writer who knows how strong and powerfull the Hulk is. His absolute beat down, and killing of the Abomination reveals something I really do like about the Ultimates. Not a lot of recurring villains.   Everyone in this issue is given their chance to look cool. Even Quicksilver shines as he takes out the bad guys speedster.  In every which way this b...

    Simply Brilliant Action and Art 0

    Every character is on form, every villain is interesting and nuanced. The Colonel, while he tries to stay an honorable fighter, falls back on tricks and does everything he can to win against Captain America. Dynamo is shown to be an unstable murderer who was only kept in check by winning, Loki reveals himself to the Ultimates, and the Syrian speedster is ripped apart by Quicksilver. Tony Stark unveils a surprising new Iron Man, which I love Millar wrote in. It's hard to do new things with Iron M...
