    Issue 2

In this issue we are reintroduced to Freddie Freeman ( Captain Marvel Jr. ) We also find out what happened to the rest of the Marvel Family after the Spectre stole all the magic in the world during the Days of Vengence story line. He keeps trying to use his "magic Words" no longer transform him. Then he tries the Other word, and finds that he is the new Captain Marvel.
At first I was finding the issue more interesting than issue #1. The art style still does not fit the story well. Yet it was kind of cool to see Captain Marvel step up a notch toward bad ass, and freddie gets too ... well, here is where the book hits the wall. This is a twelve issue story, based on a paper thin idea. Making him jump through hoops to get to be Captain Marvel when Billy Batson was just handed the title, and he was a homeless child. I don't buy into it. I think thi is as far as i go whith this series.
