    Decepticons in Disguise?

Okay admittedly I've not read many Transformers Books, I watched the shows growing up as a kid (I'm only 20...so from not to long ago). And I've hated the movies like most of the fans of the Transformers brand. This book and its sibling book Transformers More than meets the eye.

What We Can Love About It:

I want to say everything, but being a new reader there is just to many characters. I love that this issue deals a lot with my favorite cybertronian, Starscream. We start right where we finished with the last issue and the plot only gets better. The plan to assassinate Bumblebee seemed like a great way to stage a coup from Ratbat's perspective.

The thought boxes of Starscream really had me falling for the comic book version of him. I always feel bad for the guy. I've always felt he just always gets the worst end of the stick and its really his own fault. He knows it too and I believe that he might possibly change, not to better the masses but just so he can get the respect he feels he deserves. We see the lines of Auotbots, and Decepticons no longer being separate but merging into one.

If the lines between good and evil are blurred I'm blaming it on the lack of guidance from both sides (im hoping its a good thing) I'd like to see some cons befriend bots and they unite to protect their kind from a larger threat. I loved Prime and Megatron and while Im not sure if they are gone for good I do miss them.

What We Can Hate About It:

The only complain I have about this series in general is that I'm new, and while the story is great and so is the art I am confused at who I'm looking at and even then I don't know who they are. Is there a whose who book for the transformers series, if so someone tell me where i can get it. I'm fear full this may be a stunt and that the same thing I have alawys seen on the tv series will happen and that humans will show up and that bots and cons will hate each other. I understrand its all based on civil war type conflicts but those issue pass eventually even for being that have been in exsistance for millions of years I would think.

    With Their Powers Combined:

This book is SPECTACULAR in all ways, I'm new and while its not the perfect jump in point its as good as it can be is my guess. Im sure I'll get my stuff straight I just ordered some back issues that will hopefully help me out. The ending of this book with the death of _______( whom i figured was a long time character) has my attention...of course Starscream made the book even better.

Random Thought: Is Starscream's truth the TRUTH for all, or for him is the truth based on how he feels that day?
