A strange and powerful sonic weapon cuts through space and destroys a huge comet, attracting the attention of both the Autobots and Decpticons. They trace the source of the weapon to a sound-based culture of harmonics on a nearby planet. The weapon itself is created from the combined singing of three citizens, and Galvatron quickly realizes he and Soundwave, can harness this weapon for the Decepticons if only they can record all three of its components.
