Bill Mantlo's Transformers
This series was originally planned as a four issue limited series, but luckily it got upgraded. I haven't read all the issues but I had to come on here and recommend at least the first two issues, which are kind of brilliant. They really have all the charm of the best 80s movies of our childhoods, and a lot of the origin story presented here even crossed over to the Transformers movies. Transformers is definitely one of the best of Marvel's licensed material.
