    Does anybody else remember the awesomeness that was(is) The Tick? Loved the animated series as a kid, and just purchased the live series on dvd. Pure awesomeness! Spoon!!

    I literally spent 2 hours at comic con watching the tick animated series at his booth lol.

    I have a couple of the comics- they're good. The animated series was awesome though. Such a great mockery of superheroes.

    the animated series made it to dvd tho their missiing some episodes for various resons http://www.amazon.com/Tick-Vs-Season-One/dp/B000FS9MVK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1251991924&sr=1-2 "The Tick: Season 1", this two disc set only included 12 of the first seasons 13 episodes. The missing episode is S1E11, "The Tick vs. The Mole-Men", in which The Tick and Arthur act as guide for a bunch of vacationing mole-men and their mole-king. When the mole-king falls in love with a Cindy Crawford lookalike, things get complicated. Disney swears the episode was left out for "creative reasons", which may have some truth as this episode is widely accepted as the weakest of the series "

    sucked. that live action show got preempted by the President. it was by the same guys that did MIB. 
    happens to the good shows.
     
    as an Easter Egg, the Tick is mentioned in the 90's Spider-Man TAS episode " Sting Of The Scorpion ".

    I adore the Tick! Although I've never read the comics. I have the animated series on DVD, as well as the live-action show.

    I loved the cartoon and I had a good portion of the original series of comics.

    The live action show never really clicked with me though
