    Synopsis

The Tick and Arthur are abducted by aliens. On their ship, Arthur is taken away and held captive as a spy of the Heys, an alien race determined to end the universe. The Tick, however, is treated to space cookies and an introduction to the Whats, an alien race determined on stopping the Heys. In his cell, Arthur is questioned about the Heys' plans by a huge alien and is threatened with torture. Fortunately, the Tick comments that Arthur looks a lot like the Heys and the Whats realize their mistake before anything painful happens to Arthur.

With Arthur freed, the Whats tell the duo more about the Heys. For instance, the Heys are dramatics and have not yet destroyed the universe because their leader has been giving his "Goodbye to Everything" speech for the last thirteen years. Also, the most powerful weapon of the Heys is closing in on the Whats' ship. Upon learning that the Whats power their ship with fear, the Tick has Arthur hooked up to the ship. One look at the alien torturer is enough to send the ship hurtling through space faster than it has ever gone. It is not enough, however, and the weapon - called the Infinity Ball - continues to gain on the Whats.

With no other options, the Whats decide to try some new technology and to fly at the speed of lint. (Nobody knows how lint gets in your pocket. It's that fast!) They hurtle through space at unknown speeds and lose the Infinity Ball. They find, however, the black hole that could end the universe. The Whats are sucked into the black hole and Arthur hooks himself back up to the ship to fuel it with his fear. The Whats escape and land on the Hey mothership, which conveniently has an anti-gravitational field around it.

The Tick dresses up as a Hey (again, which look like Arthur) and infiltrates their ship. He arrives just in time for the Hey leader to finish his speech and launch a devise into the black hole that will destroy the universe. The Tick lunges for the devise but comes up short. Gravity, however, elongates his body and the Tick grabs the devise and uses his will to defy physics and pull himself back into the Hey mothership. The devise is dismantled and the Tick and Arthur turn to see the Hey race staring at them in anger. The mood quickly shifts when the Infinity Ball arrives. The Tick challenges it and the ball lightly smacks the Tick in the face and then falls to the ground. The Heys immediately begin worshipping the Tick.

Back home, the Tick relates the previous night's events to his friends. Without proof, however, no one believes that he saved the universe.
