Thanos Imperative Discussion Thread

Alright guys, since one of the more anticipated Marvel storylines of 2010 is on the way, I decided to make an actual chat room-type thread for it. Feel free to bring up any of your favorite characters, how you've enjoyed Thanos's epic return, etc. I'm looking forward to the start of the series, and, hopefully, underrated characters like Nova and Rocket Raccoon will make an impact. Let's not forget about Magus, either....................

@The Mjolnir Wielder: I like the way The Thanos Imperative is proceeding.  I was hoping for Hyperstorm to come into the mix.

I have agree with you on that one, the Marvel Cosmic Arcs needed a classic Marvel villain.

I'm not a huge fan of him either, but this storyline definitely appeals to me.

I like Thanos, be cool if he were to stay in the universe. Give Drax a purpose again. Have Thanos long for death. I'd sorta like to see him continuing on that mission he started in his mini-series. Searching for redemption an' whatnot. Good stuff.

Lovin' the way the Imperative is goin', too. This might shape up to be just as good as Annihilation.

I'm glad that Cosmic Marvel is getting so much attention, but it seems that there is always one more event after a "major" one just happened. So in two years or so we had, what, five events already? Hopefully things slow down a little after Thanos Imperative is over. That's just my thoughts, though.

@Morpheus_: I'm very curious about that. All the questions come to mind such as:

How?
Why?
Huh?

and again

How?

So is this anyway as good as Annihilation? I totally missed the boat on this one.

#24 Posted by NexusOfLight (1715 posts) - 2 years, 7 months ago - Show Bio
@EisforExtinction: Yes, it's definitely up there with it. Out of all the cosmic events that went down after Annihilation, this is the one that is need to read. Of course, you might be a little bit lost and confused without reading up on the stuff in between, Conquest, War of Kings, etc, but even without it, it's still pretty epic.

@NexusOfLight: I read Conquest too so I might give this one a try. Worst case I read some stuff on ComicVine. Thanks!
