    Almost

I've been enjoying the series thus far.  The Captain Tripps arc was a lot of fun and issue 1 of American Nightmares was good.  Not to say this issue isn't good, it just wasn't great.  Issue 2 does a nice job of relaying all of the information we need to know, but I thought it was a little light in setting the mood of what's happening.  I didn't feel the creeping fear within Nick as he struggled with Ray Booth.  I didn't feel the manic desperation in Harold and only vaguely connected to the deep insanity of the Trashcan Man.  Sure, I'm a big fan of the book and can fill in my own blanks for the most part, but would have liked for a little more feeling to go into the imagery.  Still is a great read and I highly reccomend it.
