    The Slugs created by Tony Husband and Les Barton 'Lezz', they appear in UK 1980s kids humour comic - Oink!

    After being exposed to punk rock for the first time, the Armadayus String Trio decide to turn their backs on classical music and become a rock band. The only problem is: they're terrible. The strip follows Gilbert (guitar & vocals), Sullivan (bass) and Drumbo (drums) in their quest for fame, including an ill-fated attempt to tour the USA.
