I like Darth Maul best, even though he kind of got stiffed with the crappy death. He could have easily taken both Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon out. Darth Vader comes second.

I like Darth Plaguis.... being able to affect midiclorians. on the simple fact the midiclorian count is what empowered beings with force sensitivity. that being said Anikin/Vader being the highest recorded midiclorian count of 27,700, with possibility of being concieved by midiclorians. Anakin/vader could be voted as the most powerful, however the fact the Plaguis could create any sith or jedi of anypower each one able to be more powerful then the last.

Revan/Plagueis: Cool vs. Calculating

Darth Vader, Maul, and Revan are the most symbolic of the cool cunning of the Sith.

However, it was Darth Bane who instituted the Rule of Two to prevent Sith internal feuding, and it was Darth Plagueis who found a way to use the dark side/force to cheat death.

Revan is the most iconic and Plagueis is the most spooky. My preferences lean towards Revan.

The key is to find a Sith who captures your curiosity about 'alternative medicine.'
