Apparently Fox and the voice actors are having a fight about money and the network said that if an agreement couldn't be made this would be the last season

Yeah…it's really too bad since the Simpsons is a classic show, but it hasn't been all that interesting for years.

that's ok...I stopped watching the Simpsons years ago...they really declined in quality after the first 10 seasons

Finally...its about time if  you ask me.

I think it is time to end the series soon any ways because the show is not as good as it use to be. Even if it does end the show will still be a classic. I just hope this is not the last season. I hope it is the next season that way we have notice that it is the last season through out the whole season.

I know it's far from what it used to be and it's had a much better run than really anything thats not a sport or news show but it's been on most of my life and I will be a little sad to see it go, seriously how many shows span generations like that, I was still in elementary school when it started and now I can still watch a new episode with my daughter. Like it or not the show has become part of our culture and for better or worse it will be missed

They should just get one voice actor to voice ten characters....you know like the guy that made all those rip-offs

@cattlebattle: I think Fox is really trying to get rid of the show because they said that they want the cast to take a 45% cut in pay and said if they couldn't come to an agreement then the show was done so it doesn't seem like they're even interested in the option of recasting

well the solved the problem and signed on for 2 more years

if it is going to be their last year than they should so their best and stop being in a rut. this how they should do it. Lisa chose to not reveal the hero is a fake and a villain. Lisa has difficulty lying that should haunt her. Willie, Uber Zorker, the true Seymour Skinner, and Jessica Lovejoy will reveal it. The reason for those four it is simple.

Uber Zorker: as happy go lucky his personality is he is treated like dirt in Springfield and if the question is asked why can’t we keep it secret. Five seconds of silence need s to be made.

True Seymour Skinner: wants to change the town for the better but the town chose not and saying fake Seymour skinners name will result in torture. I liked that episode it gives ideas like this scenario.

Willie: he likes the Simpsons but hates everyone else in town. They even deport after he told not to defend Uber for being foreign

Jessica Lovejoy: loves a rebel so she is Uber’s girlfriend and she likes rebelling with a cause instead of just rebelling for attention.
