    I've had people ask me to review the Simpsons before.  I have been trying to review comics from other publishers this week.  I have been a fan of the Simpsons since they first appeared on the Tracey Ullman Show (I didn't care for that show but loved the Simpsons shorts).  As with most episodes of the show, this issue does have a lesson.  They say "beauty is only skin deep."  What happens when Marge takes it upon herself to deal with the unfortunate luck of her sisters?  (And be warned, I attempt to voice some of the characters).

    I hate to admit that this wasn't my favorite issue of the series.  There has been ones in the past that have made me laugh and have been worthy of our favorite yellow family.  The rating was based on being a Simpsons fan.  I wouldn't necessarily compare this to other comics that I've given the same rating to.  If you like the Simpsons, I would recommend picking up the series.  Overall, it's nicely done.  And let me apologize for my weak Homer impression.  I tried avoiding it but it just couldn't be helped.

    @G-Man:
    I've never been a fan of comic adaptions of any other media...for some reason the writing always seems weaker in adaptions

    I have been reading them for a while.  I pick up the comic (along with Bart Simpson Comics and Futurama) when they come out.  They're decent.  They don't and can't compare to the show obviously but they are pretty good.

    That's the nice thing about no one forcing you to watch.  You have a choice.

    Ohhhh that Duffman!! lol

    I use to buy the Bongo Simpsons comic books when I was a kid but I stopped for what reason I don't know why.  You did a nice job doing Marge's voice, I figured that would be the hardest one to do than Homer's voice. Nice review G-Man,

    I completely agree that the style to the art is very important. You can't have someone draw Simpson and draw any other way. It's iconic to the series. It's like SouthPark.

    Unless it's about health care, being gay in the military, or several other things.
    I'm sorry. I've been watching the news all day and hearing the word "Choice" and "Option" constantly. I couldn't resist that straight line.

    your Selma /Patty sounds like your Jason Todd from Battle for the Cowl.
