serberus08's The Savage Hawkman #10 - War Games review

Never judge a book by its cover...

Don't let the Liefeld cover fool you, this read was not that bad. The art by Joe Bennett is pretty nice, and the script, as long as Liefeld gets a ton of help, was also not that bad, although this is a late review my comic store was behind with this series so I've been catching up. The end of this issue leads into a nice little continuation but we will see where the creative team takes the savage hawkman. I feel like they got back to what the first few issues of the series were about - that is, Carter in tough predicaments and then escaping only to eventually solve the problem over a few issues, all the while slowly developing the character and revealing his adjustments to the Nth Metal.

I think because of the art i'm going to stay on this series but if Liefeld gets more control as in Deathstroke, then this series is done.
