Master of Dreams Part 1: Sleep of the Just

Okay, so having read the Lucifer series and really enjoying I learned of this series, The Sandman, the story that came before Lucifer and after hearing numerous good things about it from numerous people I became really excited to read it...so now I have read the first issue...and it was amazing! Truthfully I have no idea what to compare it to, seeing as I've never read a comic like it, but basically it is a timeline in the lives of various people, yet they are not the main characters, it was just a really interesting thing in my opinion.

However, it was the ending that really got me excited, finally getting my first real look at Dream of the Endless, and I have to say already he is one of my favorite characters. I always assumed he would be more like the hero type, but the way he got his revenge on those who had kept him imprisoned for seventy years I couldn't say he's exactly the good guy, but then again I never like good guys. So yes, I would recommend this series, at times the issue can seem a little slow but if you follow through it is easily worth it.

Wow, A great start to an even greater comic series. There is something about the sandman that you can't stay away from. With Neil Gaiman writing, and Sam Keith's amazing art work, dream is one of the most under rated comic heros (if you can call him that). If you have not read this I think you should seriously consider it, if you have read it read it again. THere is not much more to say about it. Ned Flanders Sucks, Ned Flanders Sucks, Ned Flanders Sucks, Ned Flanders Sucks, Ned Flanders Sucks, Ned Flanders Sucks, Ned Flanders Sucks, Ned Flanders Sucks,
