    Short summary describing this issue.

The Tempest last edited by kuonphobos on 08/07/23 06:08AM View full history

In this final tale of the Sandman, Morpheus collects the last part of the debt owed to him by William Shakespeare. With dramatic interludes on a mysterious island, along with monsters, sprites, gods, maidens, apparitions and certain observations on English weather, this extra-sized tale brings a close to the world of SANDMAN.

The last issue of the series is double sized, and tells a story about William Shakespeare and the King of dreams. Shakespeare writes his last play, The Tempest, for Morpheus and also deals with his daughter and wife.

    Note

The second printing of the issue has a slightly altered barcode with the text mentioning the 2nd Printing instead of Direct Sales.
