Meet Desire and Despair, two of Dream’s sisters who may or may not have had something to do with the tragedy that befell his former lover. This issue also introduces Rose Walker, a young woman tormented by bizarre dreams. Meanwhile, Morpheus makes plans to capture three dangerous, escaped dreams.
