Frank Castle attempts to start anew in the American Midwest -- but this period of tranquility doesn’t last long!

With money that he acquired during the events of the last two issues, Frank appears to be looking at buying a house in Missouri. After having to fight his former platoon mates in Bolivia, Frank wants a break from the war. But he notices across the street from where he is at that there is a bank being robbed. Frank kills a couple of them but others manage to escape. Castle gives chase in his van. He runs them off the road and beats information out of one of the bank robbers. He tells Castle that he is part of a racist cult.

Frank pretends to want to join the racist organization and tracks down their leader. When they drive to a vacant location Frank tells him that he is going to kill him. However, the leader has reinforcements show up. They're no match for the Punisher. Frank kills them easily and then burns their leader alive.
