Flawed but fun 90s read.
The first issue of Punisher 2099 can be called a mess by a lot of people. It has pacing problems (huge ones), the art can be a bit to 90s and etc. Still if you can overlook all these issues, at heart this is a good 90s comic book. It is really only good if you do not take it too seriously. Punisher 2099 is basicly the comic book equivalent of watching a 90s Schwarzenegger movie. If you can overlook the cheesyness and some flaws it can be a quite fun ride.
