I've got to say that the new suit is no improvement over the old one....there had to be a way to update the old suit without throwing out everything about it

I like the original costume more but this show does seem to have potential, whether it will be good or not remains to be seen.

That said, the show looks pretty cool.  I'm willing to give it a shot.

well it's not the best and it's not the worst comic costume, for reference I point to exhibit (a) the steel costume Shaq wore LOL.  so, I am going to give it a chance because from what I see it seems to have a good writing staff and plot.  I think the revamp is cool and cant wait till the series begins.

This new kid is supposed to be the son of Billy Zane's Phantom character...but, by the sound of things, the kid was given to foster parents. Does that mean Billy Zane's character is still out there? I think it'd be amazing to have Zane do cameo or something, similar to when David Hasslehoff cameoed in the beginning of the new Knight Rider series....kind of a "passing the torch" type deal.

Trailer looks good. Pretty sure the show WILL suck because it's SyFy. Loved the old movie. Costume worked. Hey, it's the 1930's. Updating it to present day is dumb. Origin sucks. The costume is ridiculous.

Looks darker and more mature than I thought it would be. Not a bad thing. Doesn't look quite the cheese-fest that was the Flash Gordon revamp recently (those bloody flapping bird guys; i was okay with the series until they showed up)

I like the trailer. It felt right...so I want to watch the movie.

I'll definitely watch this. It quite possibly won't live up to its potential, but if it actually is as cool as the trailer indicates, I think it will be pretty good. Kind of like what a Green Arrow spin-off show from Smallville would be like.

As a huge Phantom fan, who purchased the entire collected edition of the original Phantom strips, I say the ScyFy network can suck eggs. 
 
ScyFy network has not been good in years, and that costume is a gigantic epic fail.

Wow. I could have easily given this show some of my time had they kept the original suit. Sad. :(

I'm a really big Phantom fan. I read the strip growing up, and loved the movie, that being said I think this looks great with one small issue. His new look....Well he looks like a moron.

The new suit looks like a Foot soldier with Shredder's face mask...hmm...

Quite frankly, the new suit looks stupid. You can't very well change the iconic suit and expect to attract longtime Phantom fans.
