What would happen if the heads of Marvel decided to place the Death
of Spider-Man story arc in the Amazing Spider-Man and the New Avengers
titles (instead of the Ultimate Comics: S-M & UA vs NU titles), kill off the
mainstream Spider-Man by the end of story, cancell the Amazing Spider-Man
title after the storyline concludes, make a new Amazing title following soon
after and create a brand new wall-crawling, web slinging hero who will
appear in the new Spider-Title?

How different would the DoS storyline be if it had taken place in the mainstream MU?

How would you react if this scenario actually happened?

Who do you think would be effected the most by it?

Would Marvel reveal 616 Spidey's death before the last issue of Amazing even comes out?

Finally, how would you feel towards the new Web-Head that will make his debut
in the new Amazing Spider-Man series soon afterwards?
