THE KINGS OF PAIN PART 2. A chock-full annual issue! The newly minted X-Force, (previously the New Mutants), continues to smack down with the New Warriors. But will the teams be able to set aside their differences when they discover a common agenda? Plus, each member of the New Warriors shares their origin story!

    "Errant Knights"

Continued from New Mutants Annual #7. Part two of the "Kings of Pain" begins with a battle royale between the New Warriors and the New Mutants (or newly dubbed X-Force). Once everyone gets their heads, however, they split up to discover the reason two different groups are going after the same power sources. The results: someone is trying to bring back one of the most powerful mutants ever. Story continues in the Uncanny X-Men Annual #15.

    "Origins of the New Warriors"

Each member gets a quick recap of how they came to be a New Warrior.

"Genesis: The Birth of a Super Team"

A brief introduction to the team's origin.

"To Bounce or Not to Bounce"

Speedball takes a liquid to test his powers but the various heroes of New York won't let him actually use his powers. Probably a good thing....
