Volume Description

New Avengers (volume 1)

The series is a revamp of the Avengers vol.3 series.

After the events of Avengers Disassembled, a new group of Avengers was created from the ashes. But the Civil War changed the heroes forever, not only with the death of Captain America but changing the status of the New Avengers as fugitives of the law. The current roster includes Wolverine, Spider-Man, Ronin, Echo, Dr. Strange, Iron Fist and their leader, Luke Cage. Recently Dr. Strange has left the team due to failing with his magic powers.

After the conclusion of Siege, the team has reformed. Their adventures are continued into New Avengers (Volume 2).
