Double Agent
Summary
Cap confronts Jessica about her loyalties and we get her origin story. Her dad gave her powers they eventually faded. Hydra approached her to have them restored she contacted Nick Fury he tells her to run with it and be a double agent. She gets restored and becomes said double agent. Everything was going to plan until Nick is kicked out of shield.
In the present cap realizes that by making her an avenger she became hydra fav double agent and all the missions they have been up to have put her in a very precarious position. Cap calls in the team who was listening to the whole thing and convinced they get greeted by a call from nick fury himself.
Over at he daily bugle reporters are scrambling for a story. Nick tells the avengers to turn on the tube and they then realize news of the tower and the team has just gone public.
The Good:
I liked the origin story but in light of secret invasion it takes a whole new meaning. When “Jessica” confesses she’s doing far more than anyone there realizes. I’m left wandering if she’s just talking about “Jessica” or herself and her role in the grand scheme of things.
Art and colors as usual dazzle and the conspiracy continues to mount.
The Bad:
Slow paced issue will leave those lovers of action cringing.
