- Some talk about 'Throne of Atlantis.' Atlantis will be lead by Ocean Master... who happens to be Arthur's brother.
- Geoff Johns called the Atlanteans "almost an alien society."
- The crossover event will "redefine" Aquaman and Cyborg's role on the Justice League.
- The Trench returns!
- Johns says 'Throne of Atlantis' has been in works since issue #1.
- Cheetah will debut in JL #13 and she'll also play a role in 'Trinity War.'
- Johns says "you'll see" why Catwoman is on the JLA.
- Katana is one of Johns' favorites in the group.
- "JLA will make Martian Manhunter the most dangerous character in the DC universe." - Johns
- Simon Baz will have a focus on Earth as he learns about being a Lantern. A now "minor" GL will later train him.
- Gorilla Grodd is back. He thinks he should rightfully have the speed force and wants to take over Central City.
- More of Wonder Woman's family will be introduced in #15 & #16.
- WW will travel to New York.
- Orion will appear and stick around for at least "most of the year" in WW.
- Johns joked about Vibe being on the JLA, saying he loves to use (and hopefully redeem) characters many people have written off.
- Johns dropped a Star Trek reference, saying Vibe feels like the red shirt on the team.
- JLA will elaborate on Martian Manhunter's history with the JLA and in general.
The New 52
Concept » The New 52 appears in 296 issues.
DC Comics' controversial 2011 reboot of its entire line of ongoing comic books following the universe altering event, Flashpoint. After Doomsday Clock, it was redefined as Earth-52.
NYCC 2012: DC COMICS - Justice League panel recap
"JLA will make Martian Manhunter the most dangerous character in the DC universe." Hell yeah!!!
And I loved the Trench! This is just amazing.
Yeah, I've lost interest in DC's Catwoman until they bring someone in to undo Nocenti's embarrassment. How that got past DC editorial is baffling.
Confusing images are confusing.
Ya know, almost every Justice League cover has Wonder Woman swinging the lasso everywhere yet I don't think I'v actually seen her use it in the New 52
Johns joked about Vibe being on the JLA, saying he loves to use (and hopefully redeem) characters many people have written off.
Wally. West.
>:(
As long as Aquaman and Wonder Woman will still be hardcore awesome, I don't care about the rest of the team.
The crossover event will "redefine" Aquaman and Cyborg's role on the Justice League.
That's nice...would of course have helped if either of them had a role to begin with other than team bus and guy-who-stabs-things-at-a-crucial-moment.
But then again it doesnt really seem anyone has any specific role on the team as it is.
Ohhhh Johns how you toy with us so, especially when telling us we'll "see why" Selina is on the JLA, which has confused me ever since the announcement of the series! And the other reveals are wonderful. Really makes me excited to be a DC fan right now.
i really like Katana in the new 52, her design is really one of my favorites!
gonna be interesting if Geoff can do to Vibe what he did to Aquaman, that would be amazing.

I wonder how Gorilla Grodd thinks the speed force is rightfully his.
In new52 continuity, it's the speed force that evolved the denizens of Gorilla City. Grodd feels like the Speed Force abandoned them when Flash was chosen as "The Runner"
'Johns joked about Vibe being on the JLA, saying he loves to use (and hopefully redeem) characters many people have written off.'
reminds me of the JLU cartoon when they had Apache Chief, the Wonder twins, Black Vulcan and Samurai appear as new characters, hopefully they wont try and bring back too many randoms without bringin backs some classics
coff coff (wally west) coff coff
Grr Damn it DC, I'm an Orion fan and you are putting him on WW? I don't read WW hell I have never been a fan of her she's ok not horrible but never been interested in her. But since her book has Orion in it I may have to read it. Damn you DC for that. And why is there no Stormwatch info? Considering they have the most powerful characters on it, yes Jenny Quantum is the most powerful meta human on DC currently thats not regarded to be a god or an entity or a cosmic being.

ohhhh. Now it all makes sense. Thats what I get for falling behind on the flash lol.
Trust me, you will not regret picking up WW. That title has been fantastic from issue #1. I was pretty much the same as you where, although I didn't dislike Wonder Woman, I just never had too muck interest in her and only knew her character from the JLA books, but New 52 Wonder Woman is honestly one of the best of the bunch.Grr Damn it DC, I'm an Orion fan and you are putting him on WW? There's no info n Stormwatch because this panel is dedicated to the Justice League. None of those characters are JLers.
