so we all have that certain title that we don't think is doing very well and a title that we think would work or want to see return.

so I'm asking you, my fellow viners, what those titles are.

for me I'd cancel the dark knight ( because there are just so many batman focused books) and replace it with the brave and the bold wich would show character team ups and introduce characters to the new 52.

so what do you think?

Batman, yea that's right I said it. If everyone is adamant to have all the lesser known and more diverse characters cancelled then I'm going for the opposite end of the spectrum.

Cancel Dark Knight and replace it with a Shade ongoing series (as opposed to a 12 issue series which it currently is)

It's like being presented something called a trophy, only it's in the shape of a beaten plaque that has been sitting in the office since your parents' births and not molded to your specific kitten-saving accomplishments. On top of that, in its words of accomplishment it says "happy holidays." It's generic trash and it will outlive the cockroaches.

Yeah... alot of these "cancel this" titles are actually selling relatively well...

While these kinds of switches might work from a fanperson's perspective... they aren't really viable business options.

A lot of the "bring back these!" suggestions... well, lets just remind that the last time they came back, they didn't do so well. In fact, even Blackhawks did better than some of them. Not to say that they weren't good... or that higher selling books can't be bad... but from a practical point... the suggestions often don't work. But then again, that wasn't really a requirement. (But you can't get too frustrated when they don't actually end up happening...)

@htb106: Well we already have a good set roster on the current Teen Titan although I'm not to fond of skitter so far. I want named characters and not forgettable ones. I would say people like: Static, Blue Beetle, Aquagirl, Miss Martian that's off the top of my head. Of course they would need more. One problem I have with that roster though is most of them are located on the west coast and not the east.

@Izaiah: People might not agree with me but the latest one that we got a brief glimpse off. Never was much of a Legion fan some things always seemed off. When I saw the AC version some things just fell into place. Of course that's only three characters but i'm sure they could carry the idea on to the other ones.
