Plot Summary

Overview

Lord Alfred Zango, Jr. is a formerly fearsome super villain. He was once the most notorious man in Metrotown. He razed entire city blocks, crushed super heroes beneath his heel. Now Lord Zango is just a malcontent couch potato. In bunny slippers and bathrobe, he gorges himself on junk food and fumes over the media attention that other super-baddies receive. Too lethargic to leave the house, Lord Zango sends a gorilla assassin to eliminate his competition.

When I heard about this upcoming comic with the "World's Laziest Super Villain" I wasn't too sure what to expect. I thought, sure, I'll check it out. I'm glad I did.

Lord Zango used to be the big bad villain in Metrotown. Somewhere in his quest for world domination, he just got lazy. To me, this is a brilliant concept. It'd have to take a lot of work to constantly try to take over the world, especially when there's bound to be the "super heroes" that are going to keep stopping you.

Obviously this isn't a totally serious comic. It's not meant to be. That's what I like about it. It almost adds more realism to it. How can someone like Dr. Doom or Lex Luthor go on with foiled plan after foiled plan and not get tired?

I suggest tracking down an issue of this comic if you want something fresh and humorous. Now I have to wait to find out what Lord Zango will do to try to usurp the Iron Ox's current position as the town villain.
