To the top
As opposed to the previous issues in this series, this one has even less coherence than the others. As stated previously this gives the series a bit more weight as it sort of displays war as a thing with little meaning. Here though the story is at times almost too incoherent, but this is still a good issue for its defining moments, whether it be the scene foreshadowed by the cover or the arrival of new recruits (which makes Marks somewhat of a veteran now.) The action here sort of follows Lt. Top and how he is abuse his power, and there is some resolution at the end but the lesson learned here is also well scripted. This is very not a series for a war lover, rather it is showing war the way it really is, and so while it might not be as immediately entertaining as other comics, it is much more fulfilling.
