As always there are different facets of the war to be looked at.  This one looks at the relatively mundane R&R leave for Ice, but while it seems mundane nothing ever is.  He spends his time catching up on the news from back home (including the assassination of Robert Kennedy) and finding some comfort in the arms of a comely nurse.  This relaxation period though is really anything but as the the issue highlights different aspects of the war - from failed negotiations to draft dodging.  His visit to the infirmary ward to visit some sick soldiers doesn't really help matters for him either as their tales being him back to the front lines of the war in mind if not in body.  This is more one of the slower issues of the series, but as always even that leads to a fairly gripping tale.
