A lamb for the slaughter
As opposed to most of the action thus far which has occurred in Vietnam, this issue primarily looks at what happens when a soldier returns home (in this case Ed Marks). Certainly the experience of war and combat help to shape who a person is and this is evident here, through a changed outlook, a new distance from family and friends, the inability to understand the actions of protesters, and even some of the effects of post traumatic stress disorder. This is skillfully portrayed alongside the actions of those still in Vietnam and doing the fighting. Overall this issue didn't hit home as hard as the others, but it was still an well written issue which covers an aspect of war that others often forget about.
