    Galactus is coming

I´m really splited regarding if I love or hate this comic and I tell you the reason why, it´s quite simple actually: though some dialogues are a little off, I truly believe that the best thing that ever happened to Asgard was the idea of putting it on Earth, aproaching the Gods with the citiziens of Broxton, creating a thread to unite them in common things, so I guess it´s great the fact that Fraction decided to continue this line of story and what would be more cool than in the first arc story place the Aesir against a creature that may equal all their powers and even defeat them? Add to that interesting plot the fact that the amazing artist Olivier Coipel, who´s familiarized with the character, is doing a spectacular job in the art department - also it´s great to see Odin back in charge, shadowed by secrets and mysteries, dialoguing with Heimdall and watching Thor with Sif again, all of that is great; so, what is there not to like about this series? Well, I honestly wished you´d never asked this question, ´cause the answer is bitter and long, but I´ll try to keep it simple and not digress: I believe that this is a schizofrenic series, because it´s impossible to push two projects - this one and Fear Itself - using the same chronology and expect that the readers will just nod and accept this bluntly, no way, as much as I was furious after reading issue # 1, then I read the review of GMan about it and I understand that his series isn´t in the real chronology, so why bother make a book in the middle of the biggest event of the year, whose character is key player of it, that has no ties or relation to the event whatsoever? Also, it´s very strasnge that some ideas of both books - this series and Journey into Mystery - kinda of intersect, because Loki got down in Yggdrasil in JIM # 623 the same way he did in last issue of this character - I´m very annoyed by the fact that Marvel decided to publish a series that has no connection with the "real" Marvel Universe, just a series that begun immediatly moments before the Fear Itself started and will continue, even when the mega event is finished, like nothing really ever happened!! This is outrageous, that what this is - unfortunately I´m a big fan of this creative team and Fraction is convincing me with the dialogues, otherwise I wouldn´t be near this series - is this just a follow up to the hype of Thor´s movie? Is this a project to call new readers? I wish there was more of an ethical behavior from Marvel and explanation of it´s motives, ´cause I´ve seen none - Ok, after I vented this much, I would say this is a good book to follow, if you disregard the whole con argument that I´ve pointed above.
