Spoilers...HO!
Jarvis is back, Scarlet Witch is back(how? why? (not explained, not important) The Avengers are back! I know, the series has been around for a while, but its felt different. This issue is primarily a set up issue, a gathering of heroes and at the end the threat revealed. The group appears to be Wasp (Hank Pym), Jocasta, Hercules, Scarlet Witch, USAgent, Hulk, with Cho, Stature and Vision. The world appears to be in peril(again), and Jiminy Cricket...I mean Cho and Hercules track down Jarvis, saying that for the Avengers to be, he must be there. Scarlet Witch in the meantime is gathering others as well. And after Hank and Cho are done comparing test tubes, they head fo Wundagore Mountain, where Modred has Bova chained up and appears to have killed the Knights of Wundegore. Modred claims to now be the Book of the Darkhold, and Quicksilver is possesed by Chthon? All in all a good story, and Khoi Pham's art is starting to grow on me. Looking forward to the next issue.

Even since Avengers Dissambled, I've been craving for some good old classic Avengers fun and here it is. If you are a fan of the Classic Avengers from any era before Dissambled buy this. This issue has some classic Avengers inside and some classic Avengers baddies. Scarlet Witch is back and recuriting an army to stop Chthon who has possessed Quicksilver with the help of Modred the Magician. She recurits Vision, Stature, Hulk, and U.S Agent. Meanwhile, Hercules and Cho seek out Jarvis and go to find Hank Pym and Jocasta. I really liked Hank in this issue for the first time. If he's going to be a good character, he needs to stay as the Wasp. Hank's reason for fearing leading the Avengers was really good. I loved the ending when Hank summons Wanda's army. If you're looking for why Wanda's back, that's not in here but whats in here is a great character study on Hank Pym and the Avengers.

the new mighty avengers revealed!
the start of something good i would say. yes?
we start off with stature and vision on the remains of avengers mansion only to see that the young avengers have been turned to stone, then out of nowhere guess who shows up, well none other than the scarlet witch
basically the whole issue is about these unnatural disasters around the world and the scarlet which is gathering people so is hercules and cho
finally we got a team of hank pym aka the wasp, stature, vision, jarvis, hercules, cho, jocasta, the hulk, usagent, and the scarlet witch
