    THE MARVELS PROJECT #8

The conclusion of this great mini series by Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting. This series, from start to finish, was amazingly written and the art was just fantastic. I don't think anyone could have told the retelling of the Marvel universe as well as Brubaker and Epting. In the beginning of this issue we see Namor finally join right side by fighting alongside Captain America and Bucky.   Namor progressed very well in this series, as did all the characters in this lil' drama. We also see the horror of Pearl Harbor in this comic, and how the original Human Torch and his partner Toro dealt with that tragedy. All our hero's in this series grew as this series came to it's conclusion. This mini shows us the origin and birth of the Heroic Age, and just how much great men are willing to sacrifice for a cause they believe in. Just amazing. We also see the Howling Commandos for the first time, and the establishment of the first ever superhero team the Invaders! And at the end of this comic we see possibly a second Angel in the future?! Maybe. That might prove to be interesting. After reading this series i'm so glad i decided to put this mini series on my pull list, and i didn't miss out on such an amazing piece of storytelling and art. If you haven't picked this series up i def recommend going out and getting this asap. Don't wait too long to decide to pick this up because before you know it the value of these comics is gonna skyrocket. So what are you waiting for?! Go get this now!
