The art is amazing in every way with exception of a few sections so why didnt i like this volume?
    A. The Story. First Mary and Jesus never married or had sex or anything ridiculous like that. Second. This comic weighs itself heavily on catholic and roman catholic teaching. If the writers would have worked abit harder they could have been about the first church instead of the catholic church.Anyway, the big fry i have with this issue is the first and to believe that this is their daughter. As a superhero she looks cool and defending the catholic church is not a bad story element, they need some defending lol.But her backstory is what kills it for me.
