Origin
Miles Warren is a biochemist at Empire State University. He fell in love with one of his students, Gwen Stacy. When Gwen was killed by the Green Goblin, he went mad and started to genetically enhance himself by mixing his DNA with an actual jackal. He then used samples of Gwen that he had taken from her to create a clone of her. Jackal also swore revenge on Spider-Man and created a clone who would later become Scarlet Spider.
