    Review: Invincible Iron Man #502 6

    Doctor Otto Octavius is still holding Tony Stark, and New York hostage unless Tony can heal Otto's brain damage in part two of "Fix Me"  The Good I really do like seeing other hero's villains in different books, and I'm enjoying the history between Otto and Tony in these past two issues. It really brings the Marvel Universe together as a whole. Aside from that, Pepper Potts as a hero has been one of the best things added to this book in years.      Cover I liked the cover because it did not mislead you because this was really what the whole story was about and the art is the same art as it is the comic. This is a good thing because the art in this series is one of my favorites. Story Doctor Octopus needs Tony’s help and if Tony does not help a bomb will go off to destroy New York.  When Tony offers to get Dr. Octopus a doctor Dr. Octopus starts the bomb and Iron Man only has six minutes to save New York.     The Incincible Iron Man #502 0

    Invincible Iron Man Part 2 of Fix Me picking up right where Part 1 left off with Doc Oc dying  and needing Tony Stark to help him live(Although seemingly covering it with a show of ego and threat to bomb New York) .What really made this issue to me was really the interaction and dialog between Tony and Otto with its heavy bravado on both sides and  a lot of hatred between the two but with that underlying feeling that they did both respect each other on an intellectual level.     This issue is a lot faster paced than the first, which is not surprising as most of it involves a skirmish between Electro and Sandman versus Pepper.  This moves the issue and story along at a decent pace, but the moments between the Doctor and Tony are where the real weight of the story rests.  There is even not as much plot here, just the dialogue adds much to the characterizations of both and creates a rivalry between the two where no such rivalry existed before.  Often times when a villain o...
