thanks marvel ;)
when Rulk first started the comic community was a buzz with theories and guesses of who this red hulk might be. like many others i stopped buying this comic just because i was getting tired of giving marvel all of my money, for variant covers and second printings i just wanted to know who rulk is. there were even interviews where loeb said we would kno by issue 6.....but nooope. so then issue 600 came around and i cant stress how dissapointed i am with it. it cost 4.99 and with a heavy price like that i was hoping for some bang for my buck, instead i got anger, confussion and acceptance. im mad i let marvel trick me into giving them more money, im confused why loeb is writing a horriable series (i mean the dude wrote ALONG HALLOWEEN!!!!) and acceptance in the fact that marvel likes to slap all of their fanboys in their faces with their collective penises. with all that aside the story is rather short, we follow ben urich, she-hulk, samson and peter parker (who just happened to be urich's golden boy) they go to a lab where we discover that modac and general ross are in league with eachother to make a gama powered super solider. i bought this thinking it was going to be a hulk comicbook how silly of me. instead i got pages with spiderman jumping around talking smack to rulk. Ed McGuinness's art is always great and this issue is no exception. the muscles are huge and bulging with power behind every action, not to mention the coloring was fantastic and helped a sense of realism to McGuinnesse's characters while keeping his cartoony style. art alone is not enough to justify purchashing this comic. after you read the short story marvel throws a few "extras" your way that just upset you even more whne you realize you still dont have a $$%$^&@ clue who the red hulk is. so don't buy it.
