    Suggested For Mature Readers

This is the first Huntress book to be "Suggested For Mature Readers".  That said this book was made in 1989 and in that short amount of time I guess we have become more accepting of violent comics.  I say that because of how this would be compared to the media of today.  the book is really unremarkable in it's violent makeup.  It is no worse than any police drams you might see.  To be honest I should say it is way milder than any cop drama you might see.   I do not even think this would get a PG-13 rating.  PG is probably the worst it could be in today's world.

All that said the book was pretty good there was some suspense and the Huntress is stepping into her world.  The only part of this book that was unsatisfying in the plot was how the Bookworm was portrayed.  He is a neat character who fools the police while he leaves clues at the murders of one hundred on six people.  The problem is when they tell you what the clues were it didn't seem that tricky.  I know they said that is would seem obvious after they new what the clues were but I contend that the experts they had would be able to figure out the clues as well.  They had the best expert minds in the United States who couldn't figure out pretty simple clues.  it just didn't fit.   I just had to over look that point to enjoy the book.

The rest of the book is really good with the exception of the art.  I don't mark off for art but it really wasn't my style.  I also really liked the ending except it made the detective look like a moron and it was another of those hard to except moments.

As I said I enjoyed this book overall.  I gave this book four out of five stars or an eight out of ten.  It seems like it is going to be a good start of the new story line.
