    More Watchable Just as Hollow 0

    Let’s start with the good news: The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is a far more watchable film compared to its predecessor. Director Peter Jackson seems to have realized that more often than not, it is better to have a frame that never ceases movement than one that takes a moment of pause. This never tiring frame gets The Hobbits second chapter off to a rip roaring start but turns this leg of the journey into a an unending sprint and not a measured marathon run.Desolation picks up not long aft...
