THE GATEKEEPER FILES is an adventure series narrated by Anansi, the chief record-keeper and librarian of the Gatekeepers. They are a group of semi-mortal guardians who seek to help defend the sovereignty of 101 dimensional realms. They live in a sort of dimensional nexus known as The Hall of Doors, from where they watch and record all significant disruptions of ten-thousand worlds.
Like the Gatekeepers, the idea of the series is to unite indy comic book writers and artists who are tired of the corporate machine stealing their work for pennies and forcing them to create stories they do not themselves enjoy.
Each creator gets to tell their own stories, with their own characters, whom they own and control completely. The collective benefits in networking, cross-collaboration, cross-marketing and camaraderie is very exciting. In addition, all contributors and readers are free to sell copies of the book at $10 profit per unit sold, benefiting both the creators and readers.
