There's a small part of me that wants Multiplex to have his one series just so I can see that logo again monthly. I don't know why but I love the logo used for Multiplex on this cover. Aside from that, this is still a pretty nice cover overall, executing limited space in the one smart way, ironic considering that the villain is, in essence, one who should take up the most space.You know, I think Dan Jurgens spent too much time hanging out with Booster Gold, and has picked up his odd time travel...

Fury of Firestorm #18 ReviewOverview:Firestorm must save Ronnie’s mother from a supervillain.The Good:The story is pretty good as it infuses a bit of humor into the situation, particularly the opening sequence. The story is nothing revolutionary but it does feature some rather mysterious villains that could be cool. There really isn’t much here that is surprising or twisty. The story isn't complicated, but it is artfully done. There aren't any big twists and the reveal doesn't really draw you in but it does give the story some credibility. I like that Jurgens has managed to make the supporting cast relevant to the story and even gone so far as to give Ronnie and Jason irrational moments of fear/anger when their family is threatened. Overall I think this is one of the better issues to date. Good work....
