The Smith sisters, Sue Smith the blonde and brunette Sally Smith, were nurses who were dedicated healers who also had a jones for excitement and adventure, because of this they joined the Emergency Corps Rescue Team and were given special training in emergency field medicine, as well as parachuting, and jungle, desert and high mountain survival.
After that when called on they could find themselves called from their ordinary jobs at nurses at Morse Memorial Center in the Midwest to be winged to some exotic far off local somewhere around the world to be dropped into a new mission be it on the peak of a frozen mountain in Alaska, the front line in Viet Nam, or deep into a jungle to face head hunters.
Cold warriors armed not with a gun, but a medical bag and compassion, and never a hair out of place!
