Looks like Dr Light, the Dr. Kimiyo Hoshi version, will be appearing in season two of The Flash. According to TVLine, both Cisco and Caitlin mention the character in passing in season two of Arrow, but the plan is to bring in the character for this upcoming season of The Flash, setting up Light way far in advanced.

This will not be the Arthur Light version of the character though. According to the report, it's going to be the "female version" of the character. We're assuming that means Kimiyo Hoshi, who first appeared in CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS #4 back in 1985. Hoshi can control and manipulate light and is the next metahuman to make their way to Central City.

The Flash returns to CW on October 6.

I'm hoping for both version to appear in the show.

Thank Grodd it's not Arthur, I'm sick of them depriving the upcoming Titans show of villains before its even debuted.

I hope that despite being a good guy, Kimiyo is presented as a total beetch - that'll shake up the Team Flash dynamic. XD

Since I don't think they'll be set in the same universe, I don't think it would be an issue if they did use Arthur Light.

I mean, they already used Deathstroke anyway.

It wouldn't be an issue if they were in the same universe, just bring Manu in have him try to kill the Titans - their most iconic villain and he's already been established and he's still alive - basically gift-wrapped.

Either the Titans will get new versions of their villains (which is redundant) or they won't get to face their villains at all because another show already used/stole them (which is just wrong).

I can't wait to be blinded by Dr. Light.
