    And It Gets Interesting!

Okay, So I've been fairly pleased with the Peyer, Williams run, the story had potential, but nothing really caught may attention right away.  But then they introduced Grodd into the story in issue 240, and Grodd is a terrifying character.  The threats made to both Wally and Jay by Grodd make me cross my fingers for an exciting fulfillment, especially the threat toward Jay.  There is a lot of potential in this tension.

But the major selling point of this issue is that Wally is the star, and the kids are still important.  Suddenly I felt like I was reading the older Wally books, listening to the internal monologue of turmoil between human Wally, and Iconic Flash.  The kids, who started off as the incredibles.... are now something that helps develop Wally.  He now has another thing to think about: Fathering, and being a hero to his kids, but not in a role model way, but as a savior.  It definitely pulls at the heart for Wally's excitement and regret when Iris has another Speed transformation.  Man, the kids are shaping up to fill the Flash legacy wonderfully.

And then it ends on another cliffhanger.

Sadly, just when Peyer and Williams get momentum, we find out that they are done after this arc....
