In this issue Wally West is sent to an invitation to a party celebrating Captain Colds release from prison, by the Trickster. Problem being, is that the Trickster meant it as just a joke. Yet allys girlfriend was seeking some excitment, so he takes her to meet the Rogues.
Surprisingly enough, the Rogues are very nice to him. It is explained that they are not crazy, it isn't the cstume they did not like about the Flash so they did not want to start a fight and ruin the party. This is the issue that really cemented me as a fan of the Rogues gallery. I liked them before mind you, but this really made me appreciate the different personalities. They are given their on personalities in this book also.
Each character is given their moment. Mind you that there is no action here. This is a book about a dinner party. While it is the Flash, and almost every bad guy written for the character, there is nary a fight to be had. Istill count it as one of the best Flash comics I have ever read.
