    Flash - A True Hero

Bart Allen is the youngest person to wear the mantle of the Flash. As he tries to live up to the Flash legacy he soon realizes it's not to be taken lightly. Being the Flash means defending innocent people against some of the old Flash enemies like the Rogues Gallery. Not only that but he has to deal with Inertia, a clone of Bart who is using the speed drug Velocity 9 he got from Deathstroke to gain super speed that rivals Bart's. Inertia uses Bart's girlfriend Valerie as a pawn and manipulates the Rogues Gallery into killing Flash as a way to steal the Speed Force from Bart. It all comes down to Bart fighting the Rogues Gallery without his super speed as he tries to be the hero he has always wanted to be.

A great issue that shows the trials and tribulations of Bart Allen. He's faced with insurmountable odds and doesn't back down as he tries to do what is right. The story and the art are both great. This comic really gives you the feeling of what a true hero really is. Any Flash fan should have this one in their collection.
