    The Flash #5 2

SummaryThis current “The Flash” arc draws to a close as Mob Rule finally initiate their plan to stabilize their DNA. Meanwhile, due to the unexplained EMP blast which hit the city, Iron Heights prisoners are escaping, with Iris West stuck right in the middle of the panic. Will Flash be fast enough stop Mob Rule and save Iris, and once the dust settles, will Flash have saved the day? Or is this just the beginning of an even greater set of problems? What I liked· Unconventional ending: This is not ...

Release schedules are as unstable as the Speed Force, apparently 0

Now don't get me wrong, I love the Flash series right now and Francis Manapul has been doing great art-wise and story-wise so far. Yeah, he's a novice but over time he's been able to get better and better, but this is a bad conclusion to an otherwise decent arc.The last issue had a lot of great character development with Manuel Lago and Barry's relationship with him. One man is running away from trouble and the other running towards it, a great setup and I though that this would be an epic concl...

    Flash # 5 0

A lot of tension came out of this issue. Raises some question about Barry Allen friend Manuel. It’s somewhat understandable however very necessary what the Flash must do to save his friend. This book is great, it reads almost like a movie. The art work is just awesome. You can’t go wrong with the Flash. In fact I am loving this series so much I rate this book a 5.0 rating of 5.0 rating.1=wack, 1.5=falling asleep, 2=below average, 2.5=pick it up a bit, 3= average, 3.5=dope, 4=good, 4.5=excellent,...

Mob Rule Can't Stop the Speed Force 0

Barry Allen has to deal with both the escalating situation of a powerless Gem Cities and finding Manuel and the Mob Rule gang before it’s too late, all this while trying to adapt and adjust to his new limits of power.GoodI really like how this story progressed. The escalation of danger and action is well paced, upping the tension as the pages go by. Manapul and Buccellato bring more interesting ideas to the Speed Force and Allen’s use of it.The opening shot of the barges riding The Flash’s slips...

    Never better 0

One of the most impressive things about the new 52 reboot is how the main characters of the Dc Universe are getting a reboot in the vitality of their characters.  This has held true pretty much across the board and is no different with this series.  The series has done so partially by embracing the science aspect of Barry Allen's characters, giving his story a bit more realism (despite the traveling at the speed of light aspect.)  Even with this though, and maybe even because of it, this specifi...

Fast Hero Doesn't Excuse Rushed Story 0

Seriously? I mean, I'm not trying to come in here and rain on everyone's parade, but I honestly cannot comprehend the insane praise this series seems to constantly get. I mean, I'm not saying it's terrible, but it really isn't all that great. It certain isn't worth the constant 5/5's it keeps receiving. I mean, yeah, sure, everyone has their own opinions but...IF YOU DISAGREE WITH MY OPINION, HAVE THE DECENCY TO CHALLENGE MY CRITICISMS WITH SOLID COUNTER ARGUMENTS. Don't just be a bore and vote ...
